Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 September 2026

These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of the App Fridays website at appfridays.com and the software, applications and services made available by App Fridays (collectively, the Services).

App Fridays is operated by Growth Lab Holdings Pty Ltd (App Fridays, we, us or our).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to agree to these Terms on its behalf.

Some Services may have additional product-specific terms. If they conflict with these Terms, the product-specific terms apply to that Service to the extent of the conflict.

1. Using our Services

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

You must use the Services lawfully and must not:

  • interfere with or disrupt the Services or their security;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other users' accounts or data;
  • introduce malicious code or use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purposes;
  • copy, modify, reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Services, except to the extent permitted by law; or
  • use the Services in a way that infringes another person's rights.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of accounts and credentials under your control and for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use any data you provide to or process through the Services.

2. Third-party services

Some Services connect with or depend on third-party platforms, products, APIs or services. For example, Meeting Sync integrates with monday.com and Fathom.

Your use of those third-party services is also subject to their own terms and policies. We do not control third-party services and cannot guarantee their availability, functionality or continued compatibility with our Services.

A third party may change, restrict or discontinue its services or APIs. If this happens, we may need to change, limit or discontinue the affected functionality of our Services.

References to or integrations with third-party products do not imply that the third party endorses or sponsors App Fridays unless expressly stated.

3. Your data and privacy

As between you and us, you retain ownership of the data and content you provide to the Services (Your Data).

You give us permission to access, use, process, transmit and store Your Data only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure and improve the Services and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, permissions and consents necessary for us to process Your Data as part of providing the Services.

Our collection, use and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy available at appfridays.com/privacy.

4. Our intellectual property

We and our licensors retain all rights, title and interest in the Services, including the software, website, designs, branding, documentation and other materials made available by us.

Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no intellectual property rights are transferred to you.

5. Fees and paid Services

Some Services may be offered free of charge and others may require payment.

Where a Service is paid, the applicable price, billing period and any additional payment terms will be shown to you before you purchase or subscribe. Payments may be processed through a third-party marketplace or payment provider and may also be subject to that provider's terms.

Any cancellation or refund rights are subject to the applicable product or marketplace terms and any rights you have under applicable law.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Services available and operating reliably, but we do not guarantee that they will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

We may update, modify or discontinue features or Services from time to time, including where this is necessary because of technical, security, legal or third-party platform changes.

Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material changes that significantly affect your use of a Service.

7. Communications

We may contact you in the future using the contact details associated with your use of the Services. This may include communications about onboarding, support, security, account administration, billing, changes to a Service, or changes to these Terms or our Privacy Policy.

We may also send you marketing or promotional communications where permitted by law and, where required, with your consent. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe method provided.

Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending communications that are necessary to provide or administer the Services.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using a Service at any time. Where applicable, you can also disconnect integrations or uninstall the relevant application.

We may suspend or terminate access to a Service where reasonably necessary, including if:

  • you materially breach these Terms;
  • your use creates a security or legal risk;
  • we are required to do so by law or by a third-party platform on which the Service depends; or
  • we discontinue the Service.

Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice before suspending or terminating access.

Following termination or uninstallation, Your Data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any applicable platform requirements.

9. Consumer rights, disclaimers and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including any applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Subject to those rights, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Services, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity or data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a Service will not exceed the greater of:

  1. the amount you paid us for that Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
  2. AUD $100.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users before the change takes effect where appropriate.

The updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.

11. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

These Terms, together with any applicable product-specific terms, constitute the agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and any courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
